Garlic & Nut Roasted Green Beans

Preparation time – 5 minutes

3 tablespoons grassfed organic ghee
1lb fresh or frozen green beans, cleaned and trimmed
4 cloves garlic, pressed
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (substitute with pine nuts, almonds or macadamian nuts)


1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet or pan with aluminum foil and grease very lightly.

2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat: melt ghee. Once melted, add in garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, then add in walnuts (or subsitute) and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until nuts are cooked and garlic have a nice caramel color.

3. In a large mixing bowl, mix together green beans with nuts and garlic. Spread entire mixture onto baking sheet (or pan) and cook for 12-15 minutes, being careful not to overcook the beans.

4. Remove pan from oven and serve right away.
